Chapter 130

The snow stopped last night and soon froze into frost.

Qian Qian came to the courtyard where they made snowmen yesterday and stared at the large white ground in a daze.

“Qian Qian. “ Ouyang called her.

Because it was very cold today, in just a few minutes, her face was red from cold weather.

Qian Qian slightly raised her head and her cat-like eyes were full of grievances and helplessness. Ouyang was anxious when saw her being like that and thought that she was bullied by someone.

“What’s wrong?” Ouyang bent down and asked her concernedly.

Qian Qian’s eyelashes trembled and sadly said: “…The snowmen are dead.”

Ouyang was slightly startled.

“They are all dead, those were made by Brother Ouyang and I….”

Qian Qian pouted her cheeks, trying to conceal the sadness in her heart, but in the next second, tears hung on the long black eyelashes.

Ouyang’s heart ached when saw her sadness. He hurriedly reached out and hugged her in his arms: “Qian Qian, don’t cry. The snowmen are not dead, I will make you as many snowmen as you want, okay?”

“But, but….”

“No problem.” Ouyang held up her chubby little face: “I will always be with you. We will build snowmen together in winter and fish for goldfish together in summer. These snowmen are gone, there will be another snowman. As long as I am here, the snowman will never die. Now let’s make a new one, shall we?”

Qian Qian nodded earnestly and frowned in concern: “But..the snow has become freezing.”

Ouyang: “…..”

Ouyang immediately came up with an idea: “It’s not a problem, we can use flour to make it!”

Qian Qian was a bit skeptical: “Can flour and snow be the same?”

Ouyang said with a serious expression: “They are all white, they should be the same.”

Upon hearing this, Qian Qian’s eyes lit up, and the two headed towards the kitchen hand in hand.

After successfully stealing a small bowl of flour from the kitchen behind the chief’s back, the two ran upstairs to the playroom and began to mix the flour with water and build the snowman. After a while, their faces became messy.

Looking at the flour scattered all over the ground and the two small dough figures, Qian Qian wiped her face randomly: “Brother Ouyang, I don’t want to play anymore.”

“What do you want to do then?”

“Let’s go downstairs and eat some snacks, okay?”

“Okay.” Ouyang gladly responded, “But you must wash your face first, Mama will be angry if she sees you like this.”

Qian Qian had no objection and left the playroom with Ouyang.

As soon as they left, Lianshen came in to look for his toys. After rummaging through the boxes for a while, he finally found his Spider-Man mask.

He dusted off the mask and put it on excitedly. He then coughed lightly before pointing his finger at the sky: “Spider Man’s superpower, piew piew piew….!”

Then….

He suddenly saw the mess not far away.

Liangshen tilted his head and walked over curiously. After that, he stretched his hand and stirred the thing in the basin randomly. When he realized that it was flour, his eyes flicked in disgust, and quickly wiped his hands on his clean clothes.

“Lin Lianshen, what are you doing?”

….this voice.

Liangshen’s heart skipped a beat and turned to look.

Jiang Tang folded her arms around her chest and leaned against the door frame while her slender eyes swept at him up and down. After seeing the thick batter behind Liangshen, she looked at him again.

Liangshen hurriedly waved both hands: “It wasn’t me.”

“Huh?” Jiang Tang went over and pulled his clothes in disgust: “Who did it then?”

Before Liangshen could respond, Jiang Tang continued: “Ouyang.”

Liangshen nodded his head repeatedly: “Right, it was Ouyang who did it!”

“You little brat, it’s fine for you to push the blame on others once or twice, but why do you always use Ouyang?” Jiang Tang pulled him by the ear as she walked downstairs, “If I don’t teach you a lesson, you will never know right from wrong.”

“Ahhhhh, Mama, it hurts!” Liangshen frowned as he stumbled behind Jiang Tang, “It really wasn’t me doing it, wuwuw, it really wasn’t….”

He just came to find his mask and had no idea what had happened inside.

Jiang Tang dragged him downstairs to the corner and took out his favorite mango pudding from the refrigerator for him to hold it. She then looked at him in command: “Face the wall and ponder upon your faults for an hour. If you eat this pudding within one hour, you will never get to eat mango pudding again.”

Liangshen looked at her in disbelief: “Ah?”

“Ah what?” Jiang Tang patted the Spider-Man mask on his face, “Even if you’re a Spider-Man, you’ll still have to give me a proper stand, do you hear me?”

“………”

The situation on this side had attracted Qian Qian and Ouyang’s attention. After noticing that the two had come, Liangshen cast a pitiful look at Ouyang asking for help.

“Mama, what’s wrong with Older Brother?” Qian Qian was eating a snack and asked out of curiosity.

“Your Older Brother played with the food, Qian Qian, don’t learn from him.” After giving Liangshen the side-eye, Jiang Tang affectionately held her most beloved little girl.

Ouyang was stunned for a moment and quickly returned to his senses. He pulled Jiang Tang’s sleeve: “Um…that flour belonged to me.”

“Alright.” Jiang Tang made a stop gesture, “You don’t have to help him take the blame, I understand.”

Ouyang’s small face twisted together: “But…it was really me who did it.”

Jiang Tang: “Ouyang.”

Seeing that Jiang Tang didn’t believe him at all, Ouyang became anxious: “This time, it was really me who did it!”

The previous few times were accidents, but today was intentional. He really did it himself!

“Right, right, right.” Liangshen, who was holding the pudding, hurriedly nodded in response, “He did it!”

Jiang Tang was not stupid. Ouyang helped him take the blame several times. She couldn’t let it go this time.

She stretched out her hand to poke Liangshen: “You better stand well. Don’t shirk your responsibility.”

Liangshen was dumbfounded: “I didn’t shirk responsibility. I just passed by. I…..”

“I don’t want to hear you, I don’t want to hear you. Shut up!” Jiang Tang turned around and didn’t want to look at her younger son.

Facing the stubborn Jiang Tang, Liangshen had no way to dispute.

Ouyang stood forward anxiously: “It was really me this time. I swear on Chu Yi’s character!”

Chu Yi who was watching TV on the other side: ???

Jiang Tang was too lazy to listen to these children’s excuses. She covered her ears, turned her head, and ran upstairs.

Looking at his mother’s leaving figure, Liangshen felt he was treated unjustly and helpless!

He really didn’t do it!

He just passed by!!

————-

Time flew by and the New Year came in a blink of an eye.

Jiang Tang and Lin Suizhou had received many invitations from TV stations, but when they thought of the children, the two refused the invitation decisively and decided to stay at home to celebrate New Year’s Eve.

The butler and the servants had returned to their hometown for holiday a few days ago, and only their family was left in the huge villa. Because the house was full of children, it didn’t seem to be quiet at all. As Lin Aiguo just passed away not long ago, so Jiang Tang didn’t hang spring couplets at the door, nor did she decorate anything special in the house, everything stayed the same as before.

On the night of New Year’s Eve, the whole family gathered and watched the Spring Festival Gala on TV. The children found it boring, Jiang Tang was also not so much interested in it, but Lin Suizhou seemed to enjoy it very much.

“Mama, when are we going to set off the fireworks?”

She glanced at the time: “It’s not time yet.”

“Can we set off just one now?” Liangshen looked at her eagerly.

Jiang Tang was unmoved: “No, wait another ten minutes.”

Her answer resulted in a disappointed look from the children.

As soon as 12 o’clock arrived, Liangshen and Ouyang rushed into the yard first, followed by Chu Yi leading Qian Qian.

“They’re so ready to play!” Jiang Tang said helplessly while wearing the coat.

Lin Suizhou chuckled while helping her put on the scarf: “Children are like that.”

“Don’t you see, Chu Yi is not like that.”

Chu Yi is gentle and quiet. Even if he loves the sparkler of fireworks, he also knows the dangers of flammable things. He only watched from a distance and didn’t light it up himself. Looking at the two silly boys who are not afraid of the fireworks spark and successively crackled the little firecrackers.

Outside the yard, the night sky not far away suddenly rang out with fireworks, all kinds of sparkling fireworks light up the starry sky, extraordinarily beautiful.

He lit two small sparker sticks and put one of them into Jiang Tang’s hand.

Looking at the tiny sparks in full bloom in the palm of her hand, Jiang Tang suddenly lost in thought. Without realizing it, more than a year had passed, and the explosion sounded as if it was yesterday. Now, she became a mother of six children.

“What are you thinking?”

A man’s clear voice came in her ears, Jiang Tang raised her head, smiled dazzlingly and charmingly at him: “Lin Suizhou, let’s spend the new year together from now on.”

He was stunned, revealing tenderness in his eyes.

“Okay.”

Liangsheng learned his lesson the hard way possible: by dint of screaming “Wolf! Wolf!”, In the end no one believes you anymore even if there really is a pack of wolves in the yard.
